Charges have been laid in a crash in cottage country that killed an Uxbridge couple. Toronto paramedic George Eliadis, 52, and his wife Shari Williams, 42, were both killed when police say a PT Cruiser crossed the centre line and collided with four motorcycles, including theirs. The crash happened in July on Highway 118 near Haliburton. Two other people suffered serious, life-threatening injuries at the time. Dennis Mountney, 38, of Hastings-Highlands is charged with careless driving and driving without a licence or valid permit.
