The House of Commons passed motion M-103 yesterday, calling on Federal politicians to condemn Islamophobia. Opponents of the motion say it's a slippery slope towards limiting freedom of speech and the possibility of allowing Sharia Law. The motion was presented by Liberal backbencher Iqra Khalid, and passed 201-92. It also calls on the government to "quell the increasing public climate of hate and fear."
